Privacy policy

This policy covers the Afterfold iOS app and afterfold.app, operated by Gregory Stinnett (“we,” “us”). Contact us at support@afterfold.app.
Playing on your device
Afterfold stores puzzle progress, scores, earned shards, unlocked rewards, preferences and selected cosmetics locally on your device. We do not operate a separate account system or a developer-hosted database of your game progress. Device backups may be handled by Apple according to your device settings.
Purchases
Apple processes payments through the App Store. The app uses StoreKit to check verified purchase entitlements, restore purchases and grant access to purchased content. We do not receive your payment-card details. Apple may provide us with sales and financial reports through App Store Connect. Apple’s handling of purchase information is governed by its own privacy policy.
Game Center and online play
If you use Game Center, Apple processes your Game Center identity and scores. Your display name and submitted scores may be visible to other players on leaderboards. For online Battle, Game Center connects players, and the app exchanges player identifiers, display names, puzzle seeds, moves, completion times and match results with the other participant to operate and validate the match. We do not store those matches on a separate developer server. Computer opponents may fill an empty matchmaking queue.
Support messages
If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to answer questions, resolve issues and handle privacy requests. Our email and forwarding providers process messages to deliver them. Please send only information needed to resolve your request.
This website
Vercel hosts afterfold.app. Website requests may produce technical logs containing information such as IP address, request path, browser details and timestamps for delivery, security and troubleshooting. We have not added advertising trackers, third-party analytics scripts or marketing cookies to this website.
Advertising and sharing
Afterfold does not display ads or include advertising-tracking SDKs. We do not sell your personal information or share it for targeted advertising. Information may be processed by Apple for platform services, by Vercel for website hosting, and by email providers for support. We may disclose information when legally required or necessary to protect users, investigate abuse or defend legal rights.
Retention and your choices
Local game data stays on your device until removed by app or device controls. Deleting app data may permanently erase progress and does not cancel purchases. Support correspondence is kept only as needed to resolve requests and meet applicable legal obligations. Hosting and platform providers apply their own retention practices.
You can choose not to use Game Center or online Battle. To request access, correction or deletion of support information we hold, contact support@afterfold.app. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights to object to or restrict processing, request a portable copy, or complain to a data-protection authority. We may need to verify your request. For information held by Apple, use Apple’s privacy controls.
Children
Afterfold is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information through support. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
International processing
Service providers may process information in countries other than where you live, including the United States, subject to their applicable safeguards. Where relevant, we process information to provide requested services, maintain security, respond to support requests and comply with legal obligations.
